A shop for wooden crafts and goods. On B1 floor, we hold exhibitions and wood-burning classes. Beyond collecting, we offer the joy of making things yourself — enjoy the warmth of wood and pieces crafted by hand, one by one.

Robot Black-Dyeing Experience

Date & Time: Mon, November 2　14:00〜17:00
Fee: 3,850 yen
Details: Join a demonstration and workshop on "black-dyeing" (kuro-zome), one of the coloring methods used for TAKAOKA-DOKI (bronzeware). Apply a special solution to an uncolored bronze piece and complete it through a chemical reaction that turns it black. The workshop takes about 20 minutes and is limited to 10 participants. Drop-in participation is accepted during the session hours.

Fee: ① Robot: 5,500 yen (tax incl.) ② Pumpkin: 8,800 yen (tax incl.)
Details: A workshop where you can experience lost-wax casting, a modern take on the traditional wax-mold casting method of TAKAOKA-DOKI (bronzeware). Shape a wax prototype using a heated pen. Your finished prototype will later be cast in metal at an actual foundry in Takaoka, and the completed piece will be shipped to you afterward. Each session is limited to 8 participants. When booking, please let us know which type you would like (robot or pumpkin).
